The Oscar winning musician has once again fetched two nominations at 2010 Grammy awards for his amazing soundtrack in Slumdog Millionaire.
'Jai Ho' which won Rahman two Academy Awards and a Golden Globe Award, is nominated in the category of ‘Best Song written for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media.
He has also been nominated in the category of ‘Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media.
Its a rare honour for Rahman because it is for the first time that an 44 yr old music director has been nominated at the Grammy,which is regarded as the Oscars of the music industry.
The Grammy awards will be presented on January 31st at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
