Ranbir wants Deepika back?

If rumors are to be believed then, Ranbir Kapoor has been sms-ing Deepika from the US where he's shooting, saying that he wants her back in his life.



A friend of Deepika says her dignity refrains her from talking about her past, there's a distinct possibility of they getting back together.
She adds it was Ranbir who told Deepika that the relationship was off. She accepted this truth and moved on keeping all her pain to herself. But the minute Ranbir heard about rumours linking her to Shahid Kapoor, he started messaging Deepika and their mutual friends, asking if the rumours were true.

Kangana Ranuat gets 5 crore for a film

Pooja Kashyap (COO, Maverick Productions) confirmed that Kangana Ranaut has indeed been paid Rs 5 crore for her film. “Kangana is a great actress. She adds a lot of value to a film. What we have paid her is fully justified,” said Pooja.



The film stars former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag as a debutant. Kangana plays the lead role in the movie which is basically a love story.
It seems Kangana has finally understood her true worth and with her current fee demand for signing a film she has put herself among the top actresses of the industry, who get what they demand for!

Lata Mangeshkar to sing for Zeenat Aman

After a gap of 25 years, Lata Mangeshkar will once again sing for Zeenat Aman!
Apparently, when music director Nikhil Kamat sang the tune of the song to her, the legendary singer immediately agreed to sing the song. She seemed extremely happy to know that the song will be picturised on Zeenat and went into a nostalgic mode. The song is the film's title track.



Lata and Zeenat have earlier teamed up for several hit songs such as Panna Ki Tamanna (Heera Panna) and title track of Satyam Shivam Sundaram. The last song Lata had sung for Zeenat was in the film Yaadon Ki Kasam (1985). Dunno Y...Na Jaane Kyun will also see Zeenat performing to her evergreen number Aap Jaisa Koi from Qurbaani. She will be re-uniting with her co-star Kabir Bedi after 38 years.

Zarine Khan sheds it all

After gaining lots of weight for the role of Princess in Epic Veer debutant actress Zarine Khan is desperately loosing all her flab....



She has been working out religiously plus rigorously and the results are already showing. She visits gym daily for over an hour coupled with swimming and jogging.
Says Zarine, "Every morning, I do pilates for an hour with Yasmin Karachiwalla. While weight training is thrice a week also with her."

Shahrukh befriends Scorcese & Leonardo Dicaprio

Shah Rukh Khan's My Name Is Khan is taking him big places.
When he was at the Berlin Film Festival for the film's premiere, he spent time with Martin Scorcese and Leonardo DiCaprio. And to top that, Scorcese also remembered that he had met King Khan at the Cannes Film Festival in 2002, when SRK had gone there for the screening of Devdas.
Shah Rukh said that Scorcese had told him he wants to watch Devdas and he promised to send him a copy soon.
Leonardo DiCaprio being one of his favorite actors, Shah Rukh was delighted to meet him.

Until the tuberculosis is fully cured, she is unlikely to risk a pregnancy.”

Sibal rejects Aamir's resignation

A day after Aamir Khan resigned from a government appointed committee to look into the Copyright Act,Human Resource Minister Kapil Sibal Thursday said he has asked the actor to re-consider his decision.
Aamir opted to resign from the 10-member committee formed to look into the proposed amendments to the Copyright Act due to differences with Akhtar.
Sibal said other members of the panel, including lyricist Javed Akhtar, had written to him that they would like the actor to continue on the committee.

Aamir resigns from copyright Act panel

Aamir Khan has given his resignation from the committee reviewing the proposed amendment in copyright laws which includes Boney Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, Bhushan Kumar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Madhu Mantena, Mukesh Bhatt and Prasoon Joshi headed by Kapil Sabil.



In his letter to Sibal, Aamir wrote that though he felt he had a lot to contribute, “I cannot make any meaningful contribution in this atmosphere. Aggression of this type leaves me feeling very disillusioned and sad and I am unable to function.” Aamir also appreciated the move to amend the copyright law. He told Sibal, “I believe that amendments to the Copyright Act are long overdue. I believe that the changes that you are bringing about in the sphere of education are so dynamic, progressive and positive, that I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that you will do the same in the field of copyright.”

"Many have inquired after Aishwarya's health. Thank you. She repairs well and even though there are some remnants of the ailment persisting, she has decidedly improved in her condition," Amitabh posted on his blog.
"We have all been with her and by her side. Abhishek has come away from his shootings and I have come away from my incessant TV interviews on 'Teen Patti'," he added.
Aishwarya was unable to talk or swallow food due to her condition, Amitabh had earlier informed.



Abhishek comments,
"Aishwarya is much better. I'd like to think it's all the TLC (tender loving care)," he posted on his Twitter page. "But think it's got more to do with all your wishes and concern. And of course...Of course antibiotics lend slight support. But why let medication take all the credit when we can share it?"

The actress was shooting for Vipul Shah's "Action Replay" in Manori in northern Mumbai when she returned home with high fever.

Giles Nuttgen, the cinematographer of Deepa Mehta's Fire, Earth and Water trilogy, is the director of Carpet Boy, which is based on the true life story of a Pakistani boy Iqbal Masih who worked as bonded laborer from the age of four till he gets rescued five years later.
Farrukh Dhondy, who wrote Bandit Queen and The Rising, has written Carpet Boy's screenplay in English and Urdu.

Besides this, Ayush is playing leading man in Swiss film “Shyam’s Secret”.
Set in India, it is the story of an eight-year-old European girl and her friendship with an enigmatic Indian boy Shyam.
Also known as “Le secret de Shyam”, it will be made in French and English.

I miss my dad: Karan Johar

Although Singh will be making his debut in Bollywood he is not new to films. He has done more than 150 Punjabi films and a Hindi TV show. The film's shooting will start in March.

Katrina Kaif falls sick again...

It seems Katrina is finding it difficult to handle her busy life these days... The actress has reportedly fallen sick due to food poisoning again. Two months ago the actress had to face serious illness & was operated for endometrioma. Doctors have advised her take complete rest for a couple of days.


Katrina’s business manager informs, “Yes. Katrina’s schedules are quite tight and she has been advised complete rest. On Tuesday, she had to attend just one event - the announcement of the Filmfare awards. Katrina is extremely apologetic and guilty about not being unable to make it for this event. Says a source close to Akshay, "Last year, while watching a TV programme called Greenathon, Aarav had asked his father to adopt a village without electricity and supply them with solar lanterns and other energy-saving devices. Aarav has been taking a personal interest in the village and checks on the stuff himself before it is sent. He saves electricity and water at home. When he saw Avatar with Akshay and saw trees being cut down, he tersely commented, 'These human beings are very bad.' "

Concludes the source, "The jury was impressed by the involvement of Aarav in global warming at such a young age and decided to award him."

SRK kids win gold in Taekwondo competition

ShahRukh Khan and Gauri had a moment of pride as Aryan and Suhana excelled in State level Taekwondo competition. Aryan & Suhana are trained in Taekwonda since childhood.
Both of them participated in state level tournament and won Gold.

Zayed Khan was also present to cheer them at the competition...
The star tweets,"Yippee. Both the son and daughter won gold medals at Taekwondo championships. Suhana was all grit. Aryan all technique. I was a nervous wreck... love gold especially when the kids earn it."

Sonam tries a hand at sky diving!

Sonam Kapoor who is recently in New Zealand for the shooting for her latest film had lot of fun as she got engaged into real adventure sports.
With an expert by her side Sonam did sky diving enjoying her ride to the fullest.
