Aamir Khan signed by Etisalat

After the runaway success of 3 Idiots, it is said that Bollywood superstar Aamir khan has signed up as the brand ambassador of UAE's Etisalat, India's latest telecom entrant.

Etisalat has been the telecommunications service provider in the UAE since 1976, while Etisalat DB Telecom India, previously called Swan Telecom, is a new telco set up jointly by Etisalat and DB Realty, headquartered at Mumbai. The deal was reportedly signed for a period of 3 yrs setlled at an amount of Rs 30-35 crore.
Aamir already promotes several brands, including Tata Sky, Coca-Cola, Parle and Samsung.
Incidently two other iconic figures are attached to two separate telecom giants in India - Shah Rukh endorses Bharti Airtel, while Indian cricket captain M.S. Dhoni is the brand ambassador or Aircel.
Aamir's deal has been regarded as the biggest endorsement deal in history of Indian Advertising.
