It sounds strange and initially even Ranbir was reluctant to essay such a role and thought he would not be able to do justice with the character.
However Director Anurag Basu has managed to persuade Ranbir to accept his offer and now he is formally on board to play a deaf and dumb guy. The character of Ranbir is quite complex and has some shades of humour too. The movie is an romantic thriller where Ranbir will be cast opposite two female leads.
